The Colombian flag has 3 stripes with three different colors: the yellow one, wider than the others, represents the wealth of its land; the blue one is the symbol of the sky, of the two oceans that bathe the Colombian coasts and of the rivers; and the red stripe recalls the blood shed by the patriots to achieve the long-dreamed-of independence.

Every day, at 6 am and 6 pm, public television and radio must, by law, broadcast the Colombian national anthem. The game of yew in Colombia is almost a religion:
there is no town where there is not a place to practice it.
